Climate Buddies eTwinning Project

  Ayvalık İstiklal İlkokulu  We decided to collect waste batteries as a class. First of all, we gathered information about the harm caused by waste batteries to nature. We made our waste battery announcement poster in the classroom in the canva program. We informed the students in our school. We hung our posters in cafes, shops and headmen around our school. We gave information. We talked to local journalists. We announced our campaign. They left waste batteries at our school. Our school principal supported us. It rewarded the students who brought the most batteries. We collected about 3000 batteries. We send these batteries to TAP. Our campaign was effective and enjoyable. Our school students and people around us helped us a lot. Our campaign continues.

                                                             Ayvalık İstiklal İlkokulu  We participated in the game from our class. My students tried to answer the questions quickly and correctly. They had a lot of fun. They wanted to play again. They learned new information thanks to the questions. We had a very enjoyable activity.

We started working in our class. We designed pencil holders from glass jars and cardboard. We designed maracas from plastic bottles. In our music lesson, we did rhythm work with our maracas. It was a very fun job
